Alloy wheel refurbishment at Saxilby Tyres in Lincoln starts from £75 per wheel up to 20", and light kerb damage is included. Heavier damage - chunks out of the rim or deep gouges - may be charged as extra. Larger diameters, split rims and weld repairs are quoted individually - crack weld repair starts from £90 per wheel, and diamond-cut wheels start from £100 per wheel. Yes. At Saxilby Tyres, cracks are TIG-welded by a qualified welder and buckles are straightened and checked true before refinishing. We'll always inspect first and tell you honestly if a wheel is beyond safe repair.

No. Most customers drop just the wheels off at Saxilby Tyres in Lincoln, but if the car needs to stay we can usually accommodate it - mention it when you book. We can also supply and fit tyres while the wheels are with us.

Kerb your wheel again and that's not covered - but we'll fix it at a fair price.

Yes - removal, refitting with new valves, balancing and torquing to spec are all included in a full refurbishment at Saxilby Tyres. TPMS sensors are handled carefully and re-checked before the wheels go back on.

Yes. Saxilby Tyres repairs the damage, powder primes the wheel, re-machines the face on a lathe back to bright alloy and seals it under powder lacquer. Diamond cutting starts from £100 per wheel, and diamond-cut wheels are guaranteed for 6 months against peeling and corrosion - send a photo for a firm price the same day. If a face has been cut too many times, or the damage is too deep to cut out, we'll suggest a solid colour instead.

Yes. Saxilby Tyres refinishes brake calipers as well as wheels. Wet spraying is our usual method for calipers, in almost any colour, and they can be powder coated instead where the job suits it. Mention it when you book, as calipers need the car in rather than just the wheels.

Yes - a colour change is done as part of a full refurbishment at Saxilby Tyres in Lincoln. The wheels are stripped back to bare alloy, so the new colour goes onto clean metal and nothing of the old finish shows through. Popular choices include gloss black, anthracite, gunmetal and bronze, and almost any RAL colour can be ordered in. It's worth checking with your insurer first, as some treat a colour change as a modification.
